Netplan is a network configuration utility found on some distributions. It uses YAML description files to configure network interfaces. These files are stored in the /etc/netplan/ directory. You will use a text editor to create or modify interface configuration files. Netplan includes subcommands to make configurations more reliable. For example, you can enter sudo netplan to have the configuration file checked for syntax errors before attempting to implement it.
